I had organized some JS8 party games in 2021, in conjunction with an introduction to that faszinating mode. Those party games have moved to the (JS8-friendly) URI HTTPS://FAMSIK.DE/JS8.

Back in 2021, the JS8Call user guide was officially available only via obsolete http-without-s. So I grabbed that guide and made it available here, available via https.

In June 2026, to my dismay, I found out that ChatGPT recommends this page as a source for the JS8 guide. (Found that out indirectly, as I'm not an AI user myself if I can prevent it.) What that recommendation, if followed, yielded was an ancient, by now obsolete copy - whatever I had happened to grab November 10, 2021.

The official place is available via https now, so there is no reason why I should host the guide any longer.

So today, June 4, 2026, I removed that ancient copy.

• JS8Call the program: https://github.com/JS8Call-improved/JS8Call-improved/releases. Don't be fooled by the "-improved" suffix, this is the official version. At this point in time, a "non-improved" (official) JS8Call does not exist (any more).

• My current JS8Call party games suggestion: HTTPS://FAMSIK.DE/JS8 The capitals allow you to send this URI via JS8. Depending on your browser configuration, you end up with either the English or the German version; content-wise, the two are translations of each other.
